Chase grew up always immersed in one art project or another. “I remember sitting with my Dad from very early on and we would just ‘create’. It ran the gamut really, just as long as we were making, we were happy. I think my parents knew I would do something creative long before I did and they’ve always been incredibly supportive of that.”
It was this environment that led Chase to earn a BA in Painting from Hofstra University in 2006 and then helped her while working in the Home and Decorating department of Martha Stewart Living Magazine. That job was followed with studies in Design Management at the Parsons School of Art and Design in Paris, where Chase discovered her love of textiles in a Surface Design class. Acting on this realization, she earned her Masters in Textile Design from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2013 and joined the POLLACK design studio soon after.
