Peony, a fabulous new embroidery and Petal Pusher, part of our high performance & bleach cleanable collection, are two very different floral motif fabrics, but are equally as interesting. Check out some of the detailed work that went into them.

Here's an original sketch of large voluptuous blooms by the lovely Lauren

Below is a portion of the CAD artwork for Peony. Each colorway uses eight embroidery colors, with the dots themselves intricately toned.

All colorways from L to R: night blossom, morning bloom, plum wine & fiesta.

Here's a scan of the 3D artwork done by the studio for Petal Pusher

And here's the CAD work sent to the mill

All 9 cheery colorways: sandstone, salt and pepper, pewter, Caribbean, sunflower, carrot soup, lipstick, grape soda, midnight sky.

Check out these resurfaced behind the scenes shots from planning our latest 'headless' ad campaign:

Picking out dresses

Creating fabric stacks (thanks to our lovely Maryanne!)

The result?

The below two don't run as ads, but they are equally as amazing!

Thank you to photographer Bjorn Wallander and our (in house!) models Rachel Doriss, Courtney Brooks and Melissa Villa!

Our Pet For The Day
Monday November 04, 2013

Last week our photographer and friend Scott Jones (accidentally) brought us a pet - a woolly bear caterpillar!  We named him Chenille (French for caterpillar). He was quite photogenic, especially while hanging out on a memo of our Coco Chenille fabric.

Fun fact: according to folk wisdom, when the brown band on a woolly bear is narrow, it means a harsh winter is coming. The wider the brown band, the milder the winter...
