Fancy That’s classic damask construction weaves satin-smooth areas that reverse to the opposite on the back.  Very fine cotton yarns color the ground, while silk lights up the mercurial fan motif that flips back and forth down vertical columns.

The pattern of tossed fans often figures on Japanese kimonos, and was the starting point in this design’s development.  Here, it is charged with the graphic energy of the 60’s, scaled and colored for fun and drama.  Fancy That is 54” wide and comes in 5 colorways.

Squirt’s playful, lighthearted motif employs a crepe-like weave to nudge a slub viscose yarn into the look-alike role of a pebbly bouclé.  It weaves with one of the  warp colors, while the other joins with linen, cotton and a fine bright polyester yarn to weave a gentle striae in the ground.

A spontaneous quality to the drawing gives Squirt a charming, hand drawn, youthful  simplicity.  It is 54 1/2” wide and comes in 6 colorways.
