Think of Classic Velvet, a luxurious and supple pile fabric, as the cotton equivalent of cashmere.  Woven with extremely fine yarn, the surface is subtly patterned by an antiqued, or voided, effect.  The exquisitely clear-toned palette further distinguishes this beautiful velvet.  A part of the Pure collection, it is 55” wide and comes in 8 colorways.  (Shown:  all colorways of Classic Velvet 5086)

Two wool yarns, one solid and the other heathered, weave Wool Marquetry’s classic inlaid motif and ground.  In Silk Ribbons, silk and cotton yarns create the illusion of delicate grosgrain ribbons decorating a length of taffeta.  Basketwork deftly employs two yarns, one cotton and the other a silk/wool/linen twist yarn, to create the effect of an exaggerated basketweave.  And in Rustic Linen, yarns of different fibers, sizes and profiles are bundled together to weave either as a single element or as separate yarns.  A rustic, handwoven, jumbled surface results, a chic and stunning counterpoint to smoother textures.  (Shown, from top:  Wool Marquetry 1043/06 mushroom, Silk Ribbons 6059/05 dark taupe, Basketwork 4151/02 greige and Rustic Linen 5081/02 woodgrain)
