In New York City, it's easy to get overwhelmed with, and even indifferent to, all of the great restaurants around us. However, we do have a few favorites in the neighborhood--because food and style, we know, tend to go hand in hand. First up, Hundred Acres, located at 38 McDougal between Housten and Prince, is a warm, welcoming little place with a likewise comforting menu. Familiar choices, such as grilled cheese and quiche, are made by chef Ricky King--classic, and reliably satisfying. This spot is great for summer--drinks at the bar with friends, lunch in the garden with co-workers, or a quick bite on the patio. More restaurant recommendations to come, stay tuned!
