See what they had to say!

"Although not my first trip to Belgium, this was my first trip to “MoOD” – the “Meet only Original Designs” textile trade show, held every year in Brussels. It was great to see so many different mills from all over the world – Italy, Belgium, India, Turkey! Mills from different parts of the world specialize in different types of fabrics, so Rachel and I enjoyed seeing an overwhelming variety. We met new mills, discussed current projects with mills we're already working with, and also spent time with our favorite reps!"  -Jenia

"I haven’t been to 'MoOD' since 2008, so it was interesting to see how things have changed. At the fair, there were many new sources from Turkey and Western Europe that I hadn’t seen before. Of course, there were many of our favorite mills from the UK, Belgium and Italy where we found some gorgeous new yarns and weave constructions. We saw lots of linen, and lots of velvet. In general, there were not as many shiny fabrics as in the past and the colors tended to be on the neutral side. I find it fascinating to go to a trade show like this to get an overview of the types of fabric qualities that are being produced in different countries around the world." -Rachel
