Earlier this month as a part of Design San Francisco, De Sousa Hughes held The Interiors Magazine Keynote Panel Series. The series consisted of four timely and informative discussions - Contemporary Lighting Strategies, The Cult of Beauty: The Aesthetics and Interior Design, Designer Furniture Lines: Trade Secrets, and Fabric Today: Think Globally, Act Locally, with our very own Susan Sullivan, VP of Sales & Marketing.

Think Globally, Act Locally focused on topics such as how leading fabric brands cultivate international business while addressing the tastes and preferences of local markets. Questions like "How do designers around the world differ in their use of color and pattern?" and "What do designers need to know when selecting fabric SKU's, whether for San Francisco or Hong Kong?" were also addressed during the discussion.

“It was great fun to discuss the challenges of designing for a global marketplace”  says Susan.  Joining her in the panel were Eberhard von Eickstedt, President of International Sales, Zimmer + Rohde and Frédéric Henry, President, Romo USA. The discussion was moderated by Michael Wollaeger, Editorial Director of Interiors magazine.
