POSTED BY: Alexandra Bruno, Marketing Department

For the next couple of weeks, Susan Sullivan, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, is traveling for work in Asia - her first stop: Beijing.

The following photos are from Beijing's Opposite House HotelDesigned by award winning Japanese architect Kengo Kuma and Associates, this hotel opened in August 2008 and has been named one of the World's Best New Hotels by Conde Nast Traveller

As you can see, much of the decor is comprised of modern furniture mixed with contemporary Chinese art.

Kengo Kuma's aim is to "recover the tradition of Japanese buildings" and reinterpret it for the 21st century.  For more info and images of this stylish and intriguing hotel, click here.

Be sure to check back in next week for some more great images from Susan in Asia!
