Pollack recently teamed up with New Jersey based Allstate Office Interiors to create a garment for the first annual IIDA New Jersey Fashion Meets Finish runway show. This year's theme was Raw Design, where the team deconstructed design materials to configure a one of a kind garment to be judged. Ruth Reiner, our fabulous CT, NJ and NY rep, worked with Carolynn Herman, Jessica Bernevig (main designer and seamstress), and Nadya Barkovskaya (runway model) of Allstate.

"The event raised $10,000 for Kean University; three different checks were issued for three different areas of the design department! The STEM building at Kean University was a fabulous venue for the sold-out fashion show/networking event but it was the array of creative garments designed by our amazing design clients in New Jersey that had everyone's undivided attention throughout the night!" -Ruth

First came the hard work and preparation. So many sketches!

The following fabrics were used in the construction of the dress: Razzle Dazzle in antique silver (main), Dazzle  in mica (accents), Screen Play in Oscar gold (bustled train). Pieces of Weitzner's Medea in 05 and Cumulus in 02 were used for the accessories and headpiece. Allstate's VP Mickey Spooner also donned a boutonniere made from Pollack's Florabundance

A big thank you to Jean Terman for the great photography!
