We just had a really productive design meeting. This is an example of my notebook with sketches made during the meeting. Sometimes the patterns grow from these scribbled notepads.
This is the first sketch for a fabric. It is a perfect example of a doodle being the starting point for a pattern.
Here is the woven result of that doodle, our fabric Madura.
